what do you pack to go to hospital???

posted 2nd Jan
This is my first baby and I have no idea what to pack to go to the hospital when the time is right. I am only 31 weeks but I like to be prepared. You never know what will happen.

Clothes for you AND baby, blankets, house shoes (for comfort...) plenty of underwear for you (bc like you said, never know what will happen.) Maybe a bottle for the baby (if you are bottle feeding) breast pads (so you don't soak your gown and bra...) and stuff like that. Also, bath stuff, in case you have to stay more than one night.

I didn't take much, mostly because my hospital provided nearly everything. I took:
Clothes for baby and me to wear
Going home outfit for me and baby
Chapstick
Phone and charger
Shampoo/conditioner and body wash
Deodorant
Slippers and socks
Hair brush/Toothbrush

Thats about it. I didn't even take more than a pair of underwear to go home in, my hospital provided mesh throw away ones that were great.
