What do you think of stay at home moms? Is it better if the mom works outside the home or stays home with the kids?

To answer your question, it depends on the family. For some, it is beneficial. For others, it isn't. Not everyone can be SAHMs or wants to and not everyone can afford to work outside the home and pay for daycare or wants to juggle work and motherhood.

I think they are just as good of moms than moms who work outside of the home.

There is a glitch where all new accounts are saying "account removed"

It depends on the person. I love being a stay at home mom but at the same time I wish I could bring in some income

Its a glitch. the site deleted my account.

I personally wish I could work but this pregnancy is kicking my ass so I had to quit my job(it was a part time job so it wasn't a major loss) but I love working..I'm gonna go and job hunt again after this baby is born but if I don't find a job it wouldn't be horrible..I just like contributing to the pot and it gives me some time from the kid/s and even with the littlest job I feel important.

Apparently it's a glitch or something... a lot of accounts say they've been removed when they haven't.


And I'm a sahm and I think its great. I do miss having my own money and way of making money.. but its awesome to be able to stay at home with my son

I think that as long as they love and support their children then it doesn't matter whether they work or are at home. Different strokes for different folks.

Except for you, you stay busy popping out them babies.

They're equal to working moms. It can be beneficial to a child to have a parent home with them instead of going to daycare, but not always. I would rather have a working mom than a mom who hates staying home or has to give up food to stay home.

depends, some people dont like being a SAHM and some people love it. I'm a SAHM it's challenging sometimes. Sometimes i wish i could get a part time job im actually looking into that.

I am a SAHM.

DH and I both love the thought of my being home with the kids. At 4 years old, my daughter is very well mannered. I don't like the thought of relying on other people (Daycare and what not) to teach my kids right from wrong. Daycare attendants have their hands full with other children. I feel it is up to me to put those morals in my children.

For some people it is fitting, for other's it's not. It really depends on the situation.

Every family and every person views this differently. Personally I feel it is better for the mom to stay home and raise the kids. I am fortunate enough to be able to do so even though our income is very tight, but with me working it would not even pay for daycare so there is no point in me working until the kids are much older. However some women cannot stand staying home all day like I can. Do I judge them? Absolutely not because it is what is best for them and their family. Just like right now my situation is best for my family.
