When the neighbor called me fat...

posted 2nd Jan
Ok so he didn't call me fat but said "you are a lot heavier then when I last saw you". 1st I know he is confusing me with my sister who is shorter and built different 2nd the last time I can think I saw him period was when I was pregnant when I weighed 300lbs...240 now there is a big difference about 4 pant sizes but still kicked my butt yesterday when I heard it.
So today I started paying attention to what I eat better realizing that I was kinda using the breastfeeding as an excuse to eat whatever and that I was letting my anxiety take over (I eat everytime I get upset) So again today I paid attention and since I used an app to help me do such and required myself to input food into it before I ate, I stopped and changed what I was eating. I gave myself a treat a small one but still. And so far my choices have made me feel 100% better in regards to my eating habits, I know I have a ways to go and will be snatching my p90x cds from my grandmother's house (I lived there briefly) I don't plan on jumping back into p90x like I was I know my body can't handle it right now but any activity is better then none!
I guess in the end I have one question for anybody that can answer it, if you were working out and still pumping (5months after baby) did you have supply issues? I only pump at work during the week, when I'm home or the weekends she's nursed straight from the tap. I just don't want to start working out which I heard if you go to much it effects your supply and end up losing it all together.

Well, loosing weight because you want to, awesome.
But don't let a rude neighbor's ignorant comment get to you.
Sorry, but that's just rude regardless of they really meant it :/

No. I am pretty fit so for me even while breast feeding I never eat more than about 1500 calories a day and I make a ton of milk.

I don't pump on a regular basis (only when I leave baby with someone) and I started working out 3-4 times a week and my supply was not effected at all. DS is 7 months and EBF.

I don't pump, but I breastfeed. I go to the gym and do p90x and haven't had any supply issues.

As long as you make sure you are drinking TONS of water your supply should be fine. I mean like drowning yourself. TONS of water. I started working out whiled was nursing and my supply dropped Sony doctor told me to up my water intake and it quickly fixed itself. Good luck.

yeah it was rude, but it kicked started me I've been "meaning" to get around to working out. You don't see yourself the way others see you and of course my mother never answers truthfully I get the "You are beautiful to me" crap.
I guess if I keep fluids up and keep feeding her outside of work things should keep working but mommy needs to do something for herself too or I'm going to go crazy really over being fat and using excuses, i know I have issues from blood pressure seizures etc all related to the pregnancy but I'm letting it stop me from getting healthy and in turn making me more sick. Like I said I have no plans to jump into p90x like I want to but the dvds have been the only thing in the past I stuck with I think they are fun.

yeah well I didn't know about my allergy till I drank some soda two years ago I didn't know they had started using it and I got chest pains headache and all around thought I was dying. I did that for a few days till like a genius figured it out. So its water or scouring for a soda without it but its easier just to drink water till I float.
