low temperature, what to do?

posted 2nd Jan
My daughter is 7 months old and has been off colour for a few days, I thought it was getting better but she wouldn't sleep well last night and she always ssleeps through unless there is a problem.
She normally has a pretty big appetite and loves feeds herself but has been totally disinterested, doesn't want me to feed her and is also being fussy with her milk but she is drinking eventually.
She isn't interested in playing, doesn't want to be held but also doesn't wantvto be put down, I gave her some calpol as she had one very red cheek and took her temp and it was 34 degrees C.
The instructions mentioned the 'normal' range for her age range is 36.4,-38. what does this mean and is there any suggestions as to what I should do?
Thanks

How are you taking it? Did you change the batteries in the thermometer?

It's an ear thermometer and batteries are fresh as it's my mums thermometer and she has to have accurate results while having chemo

Then I'd call her doctor asap.

I called them and they said to keep an eye on it and try to raise it to her normal temperature if it wasnt any better in a few hours to go down to them so they could have a look at her.
Thankfully it gradually came back up into the 'normal' range and she seems to have been better since although her teeth are still playing up a bit.
