I don't have a sick child, but I read this and think its okay. It's just simply cute kids who happen to be sick, not who's worse off than the other

That's not what this is about. There's tons of contests on this site, this is just another twist on it.

People that have health issues don't always have problems..I just dont like the title.

  No. It's for kids that might be sick or disabled, but are still beautiful like every other child.

River Lyn Nicole - 11 months

She was born with congenital torticollis (twisted neck) which resulted in a mild case of plagiocephaly (flat/misshapen head). Her tort is nearly gone now and she just received her cranial molding helmet on the 31st to help round out her noggin.

This was her at 5 1/2 weeks old. Her head and neck were almost always in this position with her right ear touching her shoulder and her face looking up to her left.


This one her tort is almost gone and unnoticeable at 11 months old.

I agree the title could be tweaked a bit... I ran a contest similar to this once and named it "I'm still perfect, born with a defect"

Im think im going to scream my poor daughter has been weezing for like a month now... Her RSV was neg her flu was neg her wooping cough was neg and her chest xray was neg and clear....


But she has a cough like she coughing up a lung, she has GERD as well so im fighing another ear infection and one ear was fine and not there both infected and most likely ill have to do another round of antibiotic because today was the last day for them.

I'm so sorry   Wouldn't coughing also be a less common symptom of GERD? I hope it passes soon.

Not the cough she has its a productive cough so she has stuff in her lungs

That's gotta be frustrating... I would have thought pneumonia but her xrays were clear. Maybe some baby Vicks would help break it up and help her get it out, whatever it is.

Rylan Kain
He was born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita. He has low muscle tone, clubbed feet, his hands he holds flexed (but has pretty good function in those). He is teeny tiny for his age and has been diagnosed with failure to thrive since he was a couple months old, but we have been lucky to avoid feeding tubes so far. Not sure for how much longer.. he is 21 months and weighs 16 pounds

This was a couple days after surgery for his clubbed feet. He got really swollen because he was given too many fluids through his IV, but this was when the edema was mostly gone

I couldn't think of a better name. I am soooo sorry if I offended anyone
