pretty pissed (vent)

So I'm at the doctor's and I just made my final payment. On the bottom of my receipt I noticed that they scheduled me to be induced on my due date at 10:45am. I NEVER mentioned that I wanted to be induced. We've never even talked about me being induced.

I'm pretty pissed. I'm cancelling the appointment but bothers me that they think this is okay.

Did you ask your doctor why he/she scheduled the induction without even speaking to you about it?

I haven't seen my doctor yet. She's still at the hospital performing a c-section. I know that when I first got pregnant one of the ladies mentioned that they scheduled inductions because they have so many patients.

I ended up switching doctors only for them to become partners. So I'm back here.

I would just bring it up when you see your doctor next and let him/her know that you have no intention of inducing, much less on your EDD.

I think it's pretty stupid. They've had me on bed rest since Thanksgiving to stop labor. Even though there's been no progress, she is keeping me on bed rest so that I don't go into labor before my due date.

When I asked why I couldn't go back to work, she said "well you could, but I'm not letting you because I'm greedy."

Are you kidding me? Is there anyway you can file a complaint about her. Her practices seem somewhat unethical to me.
And if you have any more kids, I recommend switching your doctor.

I just requested to see another doctor in the office. They have six. The next doctor's office is an hour away and I've already finished paying for my portion of the labor/delivery costs.
