opk question **pic***

posted 2nd Jan
Okay I'll try and summarize this the best I can. I had DS who is 8 years old with no problems (he wasn't planned) went on bc for 4 years decided to ttc, I discovered that I no longer ovulated on my own so I went to a reproductive specialist and used clomid to conceive ds number 2. My bc script lapsed for about a month no biggie since I can't get preggo anyway...well out of nowhere AF comes full fledged AF! So I decided to use opks to see what was going on. I took one and about 12 hours later was neg again...anyone else have an lh surge that short?

This is the one from 8pm Sunday night *almost positive*

OPK's are best to take in the afternoon and late evening. I used to take mine about 2pm and then 11pm.

Neither of those tests are positive, the second one you linked looked closer to being positive. When was that one taken?

I took the second one about 9 hours later, then took another one a few hrs after that that was def positive super dark but I didn't have my phone to take a pic, but by that afternoon it was neg again was just wondering if an lh surge less than 24 hrs was normal...i'm not familiar with how "normal" ppl work lol Also the second pic is how the positive always looked when I was ttc on clomid they're the cheapie ones...for some reason they never get super dark for me, one reason I always second guessed them, since I'm not ttc I didn't see spending a bunch of money on expensive ones.

That second test isn't positive, or I wouldn't consider it a positive. It isn't as dark or darker than the control line.

I'm not sure how "normal" people work either as I'm normal... lol - sorry can't help there.
