not sure there' smuch you can do. Stay active, walk a lot...

are you considered a good candidate? why did you ahve a section the first time?

typically.... if it's been 2 years since your last baby...and if section was NOT for failure to progress, and there was a typical horizontal incision, you're a better candidate.

posterior baby and when the OB broke my waters she got stuck on an angle on my pelvic bone. Was very uninformed and let them do intervention after intervention because i THOUGHT they were doing what was required

i haven't been walking much since about 11-12 weeks because after work im so exhausted but since the weather is so nice im going to force myself to start walking even if its just around the block at night. When i walk i feel so positive about things so i know "she" wont be able to knock me back down!

sorry. many people are very successful with VBAC. Just..they dont' know why some women don't progress... and some never do with any of their kids.

but... FTP.... has a lot of variations... depending on the dr. Some doctors are just impatient and don't give the mom a chance.

my point was... someone who had a section because of fetal distress has a better chance of VBAC because their body did what it should, but baby wasn't tolerating labor.

intervention like what? often nothing will get a baby to turn...

hopefully it goes well mama!

oh, also... spend a LOT of time on your hands and knees...rocking backa nd forth. Or.. hands and knees... then arch your back, then bend it in the opposite way. It'll help position baby face down...making for easier delivery!

stretch and sweep, then pitocin, then gels, then more pitocin, then waters broken (was progressing) then when waters were broken she became lodged on my pelvic bone. then the ob gave a little more pitocin then decided since i was in pain i should have an epi then after an hour she decided i should just have a csec. none of which time she listened to the midwives saying things were going fine and i was progressing on my own.... i just went with the flow because i figured she is the doctor she knows what she is doing.... WRONG! next time ill have trust in my body and as i said at the start, become more educated!
