It hurts. :(

posted 2nd Jan
My calf is killing me. It's keeping me awake. I have a big spider vein (thanks to this pregnancy) and some varicose veins (a lot, also from this pregnancy). Right above my big splotch of spider veins, right behind my knee is where it hurts the worst, but the pain is all down my calf. Heating pad didn't help. Rubbing didn't help. Tylenol didn't help. Stretching doesn't help. I'm about to try icing it. Anything else I can do? It's keeping me up and hurts so bad even just laying here not moving it.

is it putting off heat and sensitive to the touch? i had pain like this that turned into swelling that turned into i think it was called pulmonary edema or something edema and i was induced at 38 wks because they worried it would cause clots

That sounds awful. I would be terrified of a clot. I am a hypochondriac at times though lol. Have you asked your dr?

I asked him when it acted up before. He said it was normal. It quit so I didn't push it. I go back tomorrow, so I'll ask again because its worse now.

It's like the worst stabbing pain in the muscle you can imagine having. Its usually in my calf. Its so bad I can't Even walk proper for 3-5 days after. I've woke up screaming and bawling in pain, and I don't cry from pain.

Oh. It's not unbearable yet, but it's more than uncomfortable. It hurts kind o like a pulled muscle, but not exactly. It hurts worse to put weight on it or walk, but jut laying here it aches.

Yeah, I figured I would. The ice seems to be helping some. I don't think it's swollen so that's good. I just wish I could sleep.

The only thing that helps me whenever I wake up in the middle of the night in pain is going back to sleep with either regular pillows or my pregnancy pillow in between my legs. I don't know what I would do without the pregnancy pillow, though.
