Really she's back?? Shylee was born July 27th and she left 4 days later. I barely got in to give her a pic. Lisa's been giving me my depo but if Kerrys back then I'm excited to see her again!!

I get laughed at for my story...
I went to sleep about 4 in the morning on Friday, 12/14... And I woke up to pee at 5 and as I was laying back down I felt a sort of pop and then a little gush. I had a lot of heavy, wet discharge for about a week beforehand so when I changed into a pad and saw no more fluid I figured it was just a bunch of discharge. Then the cramps started. I'd had labor stopped before when I was 32 weeks and this pain was so much different than what I had felt then. So I spent an hour and a half on and off the toilet thinking I just needed a good bowl movement and that this was just the worst constipation pain I'd ever felt in my life lol.
I tried laying down to rest after that (SO was still asleep) and ended up starting to cry, which woke him up. I seriously didn't think I was in labor but he grabbed the bags and rushed me to the hospital. Of course, by the time we arrived I was sure I was in labor, the pain was getting worse and the pressure... the pressure was terrible lol. I felt the constant urge to push like I had to go to the bathroom. I was at 4cm and they admitted me immediately. I didn't want to be touched by anyone, even SO to hold my hand, and instead kept a death grip on the bed rail with both hands while they tried to regulate my high blood pressure. I was in labor and asking for an epidural (my MIL called me a punk) until about 10, when the anesthesiologist was finally available.
I was dilated to a 10 by 11:30 so they were going to let me come down from my epidural but when the doctor checked me again he said he had a c-section to do and she needed to come down a little more before he could do anything anyways. So they dosed me again by 12 and then by 12:30 he was back in there wanting me to push... only I couldn't feel enough to actually push! We tried again at about 2 and I could feel enough but no matter how much I pushed she wouldn't drop any further, she was stuck. (Which my original doctor told me would happen, said my pelvis was to narrow to deliver normally. My doctor was in c-sections all day so I got passed to another one) I pushed until her blood pressure and oxygen started to drop with every push and then they gave me an emergency c-section. Vanessa was born at 4:43 at 7lbs 12 oz, 19 inches long! I got a brief glimpse of her as they held her over the curtain for me to see.

Sadly it was hours again before I could see her. I spent another 2 1/2 hours in recovery with my oxygen dropping. Then there was 3 other babies born at the same time and one of them failed their hearing test twice so DD got moved back. It wasn't until 10 that night when they finally brought her to my room and let me hold her. She's lovely though, the most beautiful girl I have ever seen!

Wow!! Yea. I wouldn't have been having that long of a separation lol I wasn't the "mean" girl in labor, I actually wound up being a lot nicer then I anticipated. But I was VERY adamant about her being away from me. She never once left my side after having her. But with a c-section thing a very different.

Yep, I kept asking for her and finally started threatening to get up if they didn't bring her to me. I couldn't rest until I saw her. Once she was in my room I never let them take her except to see the pediatrician.

i went in for a routine non-stress test at 37 weeks due to gestational diabetes and a breech baby. i had no contractions and my daughters heart beat was normal so my fiance and i got ready to leave. i started feeling really funny when we got in the elevator, went to the bathroom and had blood in my urine. I called my doctor and explained what happened and she sent me back up to the non-stress test lab that i just came from. after about an hour and almost leaving because it took so long the on call doctor showed up to check me out and check if i was dialated. i ended up being 5 cm dialated and 100% effaced without really even knowing i was in labor. i was then sent in for a rushed c-section because my daughter was breech, and about an hour later held my beautiful baby girl Kennady Elizabeth in my arms!!!
