Well I had no choice. I would rather have her getting the care she needs in the NICU...good thing is, none of that stopped me from breastfeeding.   I am still breastfeeding her and she is 11 months old now.

EEP!! I must say thats a heck of an experience!! I was lucky to dilate in the few days before I went into labor. At my last appt. the morning before I went into labor she said I was at 3cm and even tried to open the cervix a bit more. But Im a wussy when it comes to pain lol.

Yea, very true. As long as baby is getting what they need, thats what really matters. Breastfeeding is one of my favorite things to do lol. I personally wouldnt but I can see how mothers can nurse until 3-4 years lol I love the cuddle and bonding time with my baby. Plus its always the easiest way to get her down for sleepy time

I know! I would love to keep nursing her but I am going to start weaning her after she hits 1...I need get back on some medicine that isn't good for bfing. I love the cuddles too & yep it gets her to sleep easy.

Yea. I know the feeling. When DD is a year or so old I'll be weening as well due to meds that probably aren't very good for her and can cause me to lose my milk anyways.

Induced at 5pm. Whooping 1cm dilated 2PM the next day. They broke my water then. Got the epi 2 hours later. Finally had her just after 4 the next morning, pushed a whole 8 minutes. Was in labour about 35 hours.

I puked my guts out after having her. It was gross, I hadn't eaten in about a day and it was all stomach acid and juice and water...

I'd go natural next time if I wasn't induced.

I started feeling regualar contractions at around 2 in the morning, Went to my moms friends house to pick out some movies for when I was at the hospital, I had to rush out of there cause there where progressing. Got to the hospital around 2:45ish 5cm dialated. I jumped into the jucuzzi tub for like 3 hours, Went back to my room when I couldnt bare the pain any more. 9 cm dialated I felt I had to push, My midwife said that I was waisting my contractions so she gave me a mirrior & after 45 minutes of pushing my beautiful 19 inch 7 pound 2 ounce baby girl was born at 7:30 june1st 2012 . All natural no epidural or any medication & super proud of it. (:

  I love hearing stories like that. I went all natural with midwives as well. I loved the feather river midwives!! And Paradise Hospital is AMAZING!!

I had LO at feather river, with feather river midwifes too! There amazing! Who was your midwife? Mine was Kerry Eldridge or how ever you spell it.

Kerry delived. I had Lisa Caterall and Kerry Eldridge. I LOVED Kerry!! She was amazing through my whole labor!! She left the midwife office right after my DD was born  

Water broke at 1AM. Admitted to hospital at 3:30AM. Got epidural at 7:30-8. Started pushing at 10ish. He was born 10:24AM.

Im so jealous of labor stories like that!!! Then again I might kind of exaggerate my labor but the only way I remember it is awful lol I had a smile on my face till they broke my water and then it was the worst experience ever after that lol Yea, so Im a wuss!!

It was bad when the pain started coming in around 5AM/ I was dying for epidural but there was only 2 doctors, some mother was getting a csection and it just wasn't the right time for epidural I guess. I had to wait till 730 - 8ish for my epidural. I was 8CM when I had my epidural.

I went all natural with midwives but when reality set in I was begging for something. But in the long run Im glad I went natural. She came out with her eyes wide open and even sneezed when they put her on my chest before she breathed lol she was wide awake for about an hour then slept for about 5 hours straight!!

Yeah she left a couple weeks after my LO was born too. Nova was born on june 1st 2012. & I went to get my Depo shot & it was her first day back at the midwifery. She had been workin in the oroville emergency room.
