Breastfeeding or bottlefeeding
posted 1st Jan
Last appointment, my doctor had asked me to think about whether I was going to try breast feeding or just do formula. My question now: since I am a full time student, should I still try to bf? I want to do it, but don't know if I will be able to because of classes. Any advice will help! Thank you in advance! (:

If you want to try it then do it. You can get a pump and pump while you're at school and then nurse when you're home. Plenty of women have to return to work/school and still provide only breastmilk to their child.

Of course you should! It never hurts to try.

It's up to you, really.
I was so set on NOT breast feeding this time around, her first feed was even formula, but when we got into recovery I thought "hmm why not try" plus my SO was such an ass to me because I didn't want to during pregnancy he would even call me selfish, so mean, but I'm glad I did.
My daughter is both breast and formula fed.
Do whatever you want.

You can do it. Get a pump if you don't have one.

Breast is best. It is alot healthier than formula, been proven to make babies iq higher, help prevent cancers in mom & baby, helps mom loose weight faster, as well as tighten uterus up faster, gives you a better bond with baby, gives baby a healthier higher immune system & so much more. My husband & I was not sure on it until we took a class & it seems very beneficiary to mom & baby Our instructor also said if you have trouble latching someone at the hospital can help. The only reason I saw not to breastfeed was if you have a disease that could be passed to baby!
