My baby is in the NICU :(

So my babyboy decided to be a December baby just like his big sis and daddy he was right at 37 weeks, he was transferred to the NICU and I am devastated I was so afraid of that I really hope he gets better soon there's nothing like not being able to hold your newborn!

why is he in the NICU, for breathing?

DD spent 5 weeks in the NICU; hope your LO doesn't have to stay that long.

Was he having breathing issues and that's why he's in the NICU? DS was born at 36w6d and other than severe jaundice he was fine and was able to come home with me

He is super cute!
But hope he gets to come home soon.

DS was born at 36 weeks and in the NICU for a week. It is hard but he will be fine dear! They will take great care of him!

Also, we looked at it this way... he was born 4 weeks early so that just means we were able to have 4 more weeks with our beautiful son than we would have had! Stay strong!

He was admitted due to his breathing   but I believe he will be okay... Thank you all again he is Precious isnt he?

DS was admitted for breathing too. They started him off with a CPAP for oxygen. Every time we visited it seemed like they needed less and less oxygen! Also, I did a lot of kangaroo care (skin to skin) and that seemed to help a lot! So if you are able I would do that as much as possible!

Thanks for the advice I truly need it right now! I hate that he isn't with me it feels horrible to be empty handed but I know he is in good hands.

My son was born unresponsive, then put in NICU and on a breathing machine, then not even a day old ripped out the tube for breathing and never needed it again.

Babies are super strong. He is my families prayers (: <3 <3

Congrats!! He's a beauty!! My son was 37 + 5 and he was 5lbs & 8oz 18.5 inches! Almost the same. Hope nothings wrong!

He's adorable! I hope he comes home soon.
