My aunt has been at the hospital with my 7 month old cousins since last night. One of them just has a stomach bug but they discovered a 6" tumor in the other's abdomen that's pushing on his liver and kidneys. He has low platelets and low hemoglobin and had to get a blood transfusion. He has a biopsy in the morning and they should know more then   We're all pretty worried.

The biopsy came back as a neuroblastoma. It is a cancer of the adrenal gland and they're pretty sure it spread to his bone marrow. They're checking tomorrow. My aunt said that the prognosis for his age group is usually very good and they're expecting to start treatment on Saturday.

My mom said they're also checking the other twin since he's identical. Not sure if they're checking to see if he has cancer too or to see if his bone marrow is viable to help his brother or what. I'm going to call my nana tomorrow and see if she needs help with my aunt's other 4 kids or if she wants me to make some meals or something for them.
