3 month old with a black eye?

  DD kicked LO square in the face a while ago, she seems fine now but her eye is a little swollen, it looks like it's already starting to bruise. DD got a time out and put straight to bed. Gah, she knows better! I guess I'm just wondering, what's the protocol for a foot to the face in a 3 month old? Ice? ER worthy? Just watch and see?

I'd probably take LO to get checked out just to be careful. Babies bones aren't very strong.

If it were me, I would probably have her seen by a doctor to be on the safe side. But I am overly paranoid about everything...So maybe just keep an eye on it for now?

Babies bones are cartilage and like rubber, actually.

Op, I'd keep an eye and watch for any signs of trauma.

I wouldn't do anything. Except make sure her pupil was reacting to light, lol.

Yeah, like I said, aside from her eye looking kinda bad she seems fine. She's actually playing in her bouncer beside me right now. So I don't really think I need to rush off to the ER, but I wanted to make sure. Aha.
