re: 9+ ounces at 8.5 months?!

That is how I read it, and I have seen many posts of people saying they have been told to but a baby food jar in bottles with milk/formula.

I could always tell when DD was having a growth spurt by her increase in intake and then it would go back down after a week to a few days.

She only randomly does this so it probably is a growth spurt. She usually only eats 4oz of baby food in an entire day. She eats those plum organic squeeze pouch things.

Right?! She started putting rice cereal in his bottle to see if he would eat less (even after the doctor told her not to do it) to each their own I guess.

To see if he would eat less ? What an smurf for brains .

dd just had 2 oz of food and 6 oz of formula and shes going to be 6 months.

I guess since DD usually just nurses I didn't realize quite how much she was getting.

I wouldn't say huge... he's 8 weeks and is 11 or 12lbs was born 7.4lbs. I'm not sure what is average because my daughter is 7 months old and weighs just under 12lbs so she's tiny.



ETA no he doesn't spit up at all.
