Rocking chair cushions Please help :(!

posted 1st Jan
So my mom, has been a smoker for 40 years. I haven't accepted anything from her, due to personal relationship (Or lack there of) But I finally got the rocking chair my father bought for me before he died when I was a baby, but it has 20 years of Virginia Slim Menthol nastiness embedded in both the wood and cushions. So SO and I are sanding the old stuff off the wood, and plan to repaint it. And we want to replace the cushions all together. I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING ONLINE lol. Anywhere that isn't ridiculous. It's a 20 year old glider rocking chair. And I can't find any cushions for it... Can someone help. It's special and I'd hate to buy a new one... Just for cushions lol.

if the cushions have covers, take them off & wash them...then spray the foam/pillow parts with febreeze! We got a couch from a friend, they were smokers & I did this & the smoke smell was gone!

I would but without going into detail lol. My mom really kind of sucked, and as far as heirlooms all mine are ruined. These cushions for instance. 20 years ago apparently they didn't have the removable kind, and so these are perminantly damaged with cigarette burn lighter burns, food stains, pee (I don't wanna talk about that part) etc., Definitely need new ones.

Also I would get regular seat cushions that tie, but the chairs bottomed out it's the kind with springs, like a box spring. I need something full sized and rather thick. I'll look into maybe having someone help me make some!  ! Never crossed my mind.
