So proud of her

Last night we were waiting for the ball to drop.It was roughly like 10:30. All of sudden, I smell a burning smell. I thought it was coming from my computer plugs so I unplug everything and move it away from the heater.

after a half hour goes by, We still smell it. My daughter opens the kitchen the door and yells "omg mommy there is a lot of smoke in the kitchen. we have to call the fireman!"

i walk down the stairs (my kitchen is the basement) and my oven is on. My stove is beeping f1. I guess there was a glitch in the headboard of the stove and it started my oven. My oven was on 550 degrees. and all the gas burners were on. So we call 911 and get everyone out of the house.

i am so proud of her. She looked after her brother who was sleeping on the bed while i had to unplug the stove before my house went open in the flames.

Glad everyone was alright and that you all noticed it before it got any worse
