Quoting Brandi Eastman:" My first was born at 28 weeks (no reason, just decided he was ready) I started geting progersterone shots ... [snip!] ... the pain, weekly trips to the dr office, mood swings....I would do it all over again (and prolly will) for a healthy baby!!!"
Quoting ★ASHLEY★:" I had gotten a few sets of steroid shots when I was pregnant with my daughter (she was a 32 weeker) I ... [snip!] ... weeker) I dont know if these shots are the same as what your talking about but they helped her out so much! Good luck ladies!"

Quoting Historymomma:" Can't speak personally, but a really good friend had them. She started them about 20 weeks, stopped ... [snip!] ... shot hurt pretty bad, but I guess after awhile it was so routine the pain was not as bad. Just my second hand experience."
Quoting Brandi Eastman:" If you have any questions about anything else down the road or anything i'd be happy to help if I can! ... [snip!] ... around the 28-29 week mark (when I had DS1) I felt like I was a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off. Best of luck to you!"
Quoting M.B.M.:" I have been taking them for 6 weeks now. The actual shot does not hurt that bad. But you will be sore ... [snip!] ... in the hospital with pre-term labor 2 times in the past three weeks. Good luck and hopefully you will have a good experience."
Quoting Gage's Mom+(15 weeks):" Ugh! that sucks do u know what causes yours? when was your first born? & when u say I will be ... [snip!] ... will be sore a few days.. since I got to get it every week. as soon as it starts to feel better in a few days I reset all over"I wish I knew what causes my pre-term labor. I went into labor with my first at 32 weeks and at 29 weeks with this pregnancy. I just took my weekly shot today and it really doesn't hurt that bad you are just sore at the spot where you had the injection for a couple days because it goes into the muscle. If you have ever had a flu shot its kind of like that. Where your arm is sore for a couple days where you were given the shot. I hope this helps. Maybe its different depending on how your body responds???
