Quoting Gage's Mom+(15 weeks):" your freaking me out with the golf ball sized lumps.. was that the first 2 weeks of taking them? I have ... [snip!] ... Bedrest freaks me out. How did you care for your oldest when you was on it? & Do you really have to lay in bed all day?"
Sorry don't mean to freak you out. It was horrible, I'm not gonna lie. I am just one of the few that happens to react horribly to them. Hopefully you are not like me
I actually had to send my oldest to stay with my mom and sister while I was on bed rest. I stayed on the couch the whole time! It was not fun but in the end so so worth it. I think it depends on you and your doc as far as how strict it is. I was told that I could not even drive myself, I was not allowed to cook for myself. They said "get up and get a sandwich but do not make a sandwich". Not only did I have the shots but I was also on oral medication and was still having contractions, this was 6 years ago though so I can't remember the name of the meds I was on. I honestly don't know how I made it to 39 weeks with her. This pregnancy has been much easier and I think it has alot to do with the shots and starting them on time. I hope they work for you too!!!
