Ask them at your next appt. usually they can tell.

Your doc can feel around and get a general idea. If he has concerns that the baby is breech, he might order an ultrasound to check. But, a baby's head is bigger than its bottom, and so it does feel different.

Where do you feel kicks? where do you feel hiccups? does your doctor think your baby is breech?

Ask your doctor. They can feel around and tell which body parts are where.

I demanded an ultrasound when I was in labor. I wanted to see it for myself. Even though the doctor assured me baby was head down.
They brought in the machine, put the thing up to my belly, and low and behold, baby was breech.
I encourage everyone to have a last minute ultrasound. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Cause right now i feel a lot of pain in my v erea , and some with contractions and i feel like a first time mom cause with my daugther i never had real contractions or anything, soo this is all new and im freaking cause even tho i had a quick labor it was really painfull and the last thing i sorta want is to get induced , i kinda want to go on my own and hopefully have no complications :/

Like others said your doctor can feel his/her head while checking your cervix. my youngest turned breech at 41w1d.
