Miscarriage or chemical?

posted 1st Jan
First off I'm going to start off by saying I'm not TTC and I would have only been 2 weeks so ive gotten a neg on both tests I've taken. I'm not due for my period for another 8 days and I'm bleeding VERY heavy and having bad clots tissue and some minor cramps and I'm pretty sure I'm having a miscarriage. I just want to know if I'm maybe over reacting or under reacting? Not to sure what to do or how to act about it because I mean it doesn't hurt bad enough to go to ER and they wouldn't do anything anyways. What should I do? Also on the 26th I went to the doctor and I have a uti, BV, and a yeast infection. I don't know if that would have anything to do with it. Please help?

If you're only two weeks and 8 days before your period you wouldn't be having a miscarriage or even a chemical. It has to implant for you do to that. If the embryo didn't make it to implantation you would never know.

It could be anything really. Negative test makes me lean toward not a pregnancy though. Chemical pregnancy is just a type of miscarriage. There are just different names for a miscarriage that happens early. As long as you aren't bleeding through more than 2 pads per hour, you should be fine.

So it's probably just an early period mixed with my Bv and yeast infection?

What Amelia said, plus if your egg were to be fertilized but not implant your period would still come on schedule and would seem like a regular period. I think you're just having an early period

I would lean toward early period but certainly follow up with your OB/GYN.

If she has 28 day cycles she should have ovulated the 26th , she'd be 6 dpo and wouldn't get a positive pregnancy test regardless, and no miscarriage symptoms.

Hope ya get better soon OP :/ that doesn't sound like much fun at all

Oh of course. I tried calling them but they aren't open today, not even triage. Very stressful.

That's true also. Your body doesn't have any idea that you're pregnant until the embryo begins to implant.

So it's still a possibility? I mean regardless I'm not really upset about it at all, I don't want another baby anytime soon. I've need drinking like a damn goldfish and smoking like a chiminy so it's probably a good thing.

I hear you. I have a whole bunch of doctors I really need to talk to or at least schedule appointments with. It's been very stressful not to be able to reach anyone over the holidays.
