Do you use vitamins at all?

My dd will be 11 months on the 4th (yay)

And has now been on whole milk since 9 months, still ff fed as well. She is drinking enough whole milk a day now 16 oz,

She eats a lot of broccoli, its her fav. lol and she eats a lot of meats as well. I am wondering if I should start some kind of iron vitamin with her, since milk can cause iron deficiancy in babies and well anyone.
I want to ask the pedi, but are appointment is not till mid feb.

Maybe I should wait? IDK. lol

But if you use any what kind or what other vitamins do you use with your kids under 1?

I don't know, but why did you start her on cows milk at 9 months?

Because here in Canada its whole milk at 9 months, not 1 year.

Zeke will be one on January 16th, and I just started switching him over to whole milk. I plan to give him vitamins, I would rather be safe than sorry. I just don't trust his diet enough to know that he is getting all the nutrients he should be. Some days he eats great, but other days he eats like a bird.

Not solely whole at 9 months, but it gets introduced at 9 months here. lol If you want to, not a must like everything else. lol

See mine eats read meat every day sometimes twice a day, she is on 16oz of whole milk and 40oz of formula, she eats really good, but I worry about low iron. I would love to get into the pedi before 1 so I could ask him if I should start at 1 once off the formula. lol

Honestly, it's not going to hurt you to put her on vitamins. We use Poly Vi Sol with Iron...it's liquid, so you can just put it in her milk. Like I said, better safe than sorry...

Yes I give her a multivitamin with iron in it. Enfamil makes it. I also give her a calcium chewable because she isn't very good about drinking milk. (She was EBF for 15 months)

  There is NO harm in vitamins.
Advil is more dangerous..

I wouldnt speak for an entire country. I dont give whole milk til 1 year. My SIL gave whole milk (only) at 9 months. But I dont believe her parenting style.,.....

Which is.why I said.that's its can be introduced at 9 months but formula.is still given till 1. Not to replace formula at all. Its a choice to do so and.is allowed at 9 months.

I would definitely giver her some vitamin with iron in it! Babies around her age often have iron deficiency anemia because they are given whole milk that early.. That is why we stick to formula/breastmilk until 12 months.
