You take the first pill the day after your period ends because the the last week of pills are sugar pills for when your on your period

I normally do when my period ends. The doctors always told me to do it that way.

My Dr. has always told me to start my pills the 1st Sunday after my period would end.

Good! I really didn't want to wait another month to start. Thanks ladies!

Don't forget, it takes at least a month, if not more for the pill to be completely effective, if taken properly.
