I just dunno what to do

posted 31st Dec
sometimes you just reach a point with your infant when they're going through a rough time...that you are at a loss how to help them and you feel terrible for them..

With my first it was colic..and it was constant. I have been so spoiled with my second..he has just been an angel(other than being rambunctious and into everything)

Well, lately, he has been super fussy.. He cries alot, he is up and down all night. He is usually up only once or twice.(he has been a good sleeper since birth)

He is refusing his paci now, so I'm his paci.

He is taller than he was last week..and he is still getting his top front teeth in..

I guess its teething and a growth spurt? Poor guy is super fussy and throwing himself in the floor like its the end of the world all the time..its just not like him. He is a super funny super happy baby usually. Tylenol hasnt helped..

Breath and remember it'll pass...

and also if it's teething get some teething tablets. They work the best

My cousin has one of those amber teething necklaces that she wrapped around her sons ankle, she said it helped her.

They still have teething tablets? I used them with my oldest and he had side effects.. then they were taken off the shelves. I dunno if I trust them?

No fever. Just fussy. He just got over being sick last week(virus) and now this..not fair. I'm going to miss his sweet baby face with his paci lol I know its probably a blessing he doesnt want it anymore but its just a reminder soon he wont be a baby anymore..

This just happened with my youngest and he actually had an ear infection and no fever. Maybe you could take him to the doctor if he's really being that much fussier than normal and see what they say.

I hope this passes quickly   sorry mama (and baby).

Oh noes! Hope your little guy feels better!

If this continues I will probably have him in to be looked at. I have never seen an 11 month old throw a tantrum before! His checkup is soon but I'm going full on loopy!

I totally just realized I don't have his new insurance card #%&@!

I have to wait to get it..we added him(and me) to our family policy.

Fingers crossed it comes in soon! I have drops if it is his ears, to give him relief. I may try that.

They wont see you withot a card? And I have mist been putting breastmilk in his ears and I took him to the chiropractor, he seems notably less fussy so that is good.

Also, both of my kids were throwing tantrums by 6 months, lol. Throwing themselves back in the floor, kicking and arms flailing. 11 months sounds late to me, you must have really chill babies or maybe mine are insane.

Oh they'll see me, but charge me $200 lol

The flu is going around and like 3 viruses, I'm going to try not to take him in anyway unless he is in serious need. We just had a poopy/pukey virus..bleh. I dont want anything else lol I also treated my kids athletes foot at home.. I dont want germs lol

Seriously I hate the doctor. I only brought him in cuz he had a head to foot rash for a week and was screaming all the time.

Turns out it was just eczema, and he was crying cuz of the ear infection. Blah.

And here they don't charge you at all if you don't have a card, and they bill you later. If you forget your card you don't need to pay the copay either.

Same here.. I could take him and be billed later if I wanted. But, I always have to pay copay upfront pfft lol

My oldest is going to end up at the dermatologist..bleh. Both my kids has super sensitive skin that results in weird rashes and fungus and just UGH.

My youngest seems to be a bit better today but still isnt sleeping much..
