The stuff I've started turning to is called Gripe Water. It's a little expensive, 11$ a bottle, but it's amazing. It says its for colic, gas, upset tummy, teething and hiccups. My little 3 week old DD has a lot of gas and an upset tummy so we give her the minimum dose and it always makes her feel better and she gets the sleep she so desperately needs (she fights sleep pretty hard too). I'd say give it a go if your LO is having a hard time!
