water break or discharge

posted 31st Dec
so i had just went to the bathroom. Walked into the living room sat down, and gush i felt like i went pee again. so i went to back to the bathroom, my underwear is wet and the crotch of my jeans. I wiped and looked at the toilet paper it didn't smell like pee and had some mucus on the tissue but the paper was wet enough to look like i went pee. i cant explain it. We are like in winter mood snow just falling how do i know for sure if it was my water or just alot of discharge before I drive 45 minutes in this blizzard!

I would say it is probably not just discharge if the crotch of your jeans are wet too. Are you feeling more come out?

Lay down on your back and cough
If you feel a gush then its probably your water

Walk around for a minute and see if you feel more. You can also lay down on your back and see if you feel more.

But discharge usually doesn't gush or wet you that much!

When my water broke I felt a gush like that and it happened multiple times after too, just from me moving or standing up. I got down on my hands and knees to grab something from under the table (I think DS had my keys?) and that really made me leak.

Keep moving around. Lay down for a few minutes, then cough and stand up. If you're feeling wet again, it's probably your water. Your water won't stop leaking, even if it's done a waterfall gush.

When mine broke, pretty much any movement (including laughing) caused gushing

It is possible to have just peed.

Lay down for a few minutes and stand back up and see if you feel anything. If you don't you may have just peed a little even if you had just gone to the bathroom.
