Club Feet Surgery

Anyone's child have foot reconstruction surgery? My son has club feet and we did the casting and bracing, but his feet have regressed. He will be having full foot reconstruction surgery down the road where they move bones and ligaments in his feet.

I'm wondering what to expect from this surgery and if he will be "normal" when he's older...

My friends son just had the surgery at 6 months and he's doing great

Was it a 5 hour surgery? Or was it done in office? The only reason I ask is there are many club feet surgeries performed and my son has to have the total reconstruction which is moving bones and ligaments around. I would love to talk to her!!

I'm not sure honestly,he still wears braces though
She doesn't have an accnt on bg and I don't really talk to her,I went to HS with her and were fb friends

My little brother is 18 and they are thinking of doing his 10th surgery soon. Both of his feet were clubbed at birth. One surgery they took bone from his hip and put it in his left foot. Recovery for all was pretty easy after the first few weeks. E even learned to ride a bike and walk with cast on and went on to play football and march in the band.. Thanks to the Shriners hospital for children
