I've had 2 inductions and they were both pretty smooth. I actually got my epidural at about 4 cm during both and slept until time to push lol. 15 mins of pushing and it was over. My last birth was not induced, and I thought it was more painful, but then again I was 8 cm before I even made it to the hospital, so no epidural. Lol. Recovery during the inductions were a tad harder for me because I was cut, but with my last I tore naturally, much smoother recovery.

Personally I don't have one, but I was there with my best friend for almost every minute of her induction. She didn't have any complications and even though she was induced for 2 days they never considered a c-section she had a happy healthy baby girl

I got induced with my oldest due to pre e. I went for a drappt my bp wouldnt go down and i was very swollen! I was induced and even though it took 12 hrs i didnt have any complications and progressed perfectly. i would suggest getting the epi soon as they start you. i tried to do it natural but with induction they keep making your contractions stronger!!! i had no problems after either and neither did my baby! he was very healthy and came home with me! good luck!!!

I went in for my induction at 7 am and had her at 6:06 pm. Very little pain management needed. The only prov I had was my contractions kicked in on op of the pitocin ones and it make me delirious in pain. But that's obviously not a typical thing. Because she wasn't completely turned into the pelvis she came out face up so tht was harder for pushing. But again not a typical thing. Overall I'm
Happy with mine and she came out healthy and perfect.

My last one went well. I had to have a medical induction due to size issues, and the pitocin part failed, so they broke his water, and it was literally over before I knew it. I gave in to get the epi like RIGHT before I had to push, that was the biggest disappointment and from start to finish it was about 4 hours, and he was hear, no tearing, no complications, or anything.

Although when he came out, his face was bruised, so we had to stay an extra day, apparently his face had a love relationship with my pubic bone.

I was induced because of low fluid and growth restriction. It actually wasn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I went 20 hours without pain meds. After I got the epidural I was ready to push after 4 hours. It took me 3 hours to push her out and I only needed one stitch. Good luck! I also got the foley bulb which I recommend instead of cervadil or cytotec or any other cervical ripening agent.

I had short labors too. With my first baby I was induced at 7 30 am and she was born at 12 15 pm. With my second baby I was induced at 6 am and he was born at 12 22 pm.

Things tend to go quick and easy for me though. I am on my 5th pregnancy and took me less than 4 months to conceive each one of them.
