Curing ear infections with breastmilk or garlic oil?

I think my son has an ear infection....he hates laying on that side. His temp goes up to 102.4...Tylenol brings it to 100....

Anyone try this?

Im making a garlic oil paste for his feet right now.... Im nervous to melt a bit and put it in his ear.

Breastmilk cured my baby's eye infection. Lol. When someone told me to do that I thought she was a nut, but it worked!

Never heard of either, not sure if I'd put stuff in his ear. Why not just take him in to be seen!? I know breastmilk cured my sons eye infection, eczema, and mrsa.

I would do both. I heat garlic in olive oil, let the oil cool down and put three drops in. I felt so much better. Olive oil also is an anti inflammatory.

His fever broke!   thanks ladies! How often should I be doing it? I just used a dab of the coconut oil/ olive oil/ garlic paste I made and applied it with a que tip...let it melt in his ear.....
Should I tip his head too? Thanks!!

I'm going through this now. My lo highest was 102. I don't fever reduce. A fever is fighting the illness and is needed. Lenol or motrin inhibits gluthithione production in the liver which is needed to fight illness.

I was prescribed zithromax bc she had diarrhea already and amoxicillin causes diarrhea. I'm not giving that to my lo. Aap says ear infections normally clear on their own. I came home and crushed organic garlic and put in organic cold pressed unrefind olive oil and let it sit one hour. I heated it to room temp and put 2 drops per ear let sick then put in cotton balls. She went right to sleep. If you have breast milk I would do that first.

Thank you so much!! Hope your baby gets better soon! I dont have cotton balls...Ive just been massaging it in his ears while he sleeps...should I go buy some? Or is it just to keep the oil from coming out?

Eta- I need to get over my fear of fevers...N's great aunt had a fever get to 105 and it disabled her....but I fhink anything under 103 is normal for the body fighting infection

Yea I'm not saying I'm not gonna freak if her fever is 105 but I probably won't reduce until 104 and ill try the home remedies first. Fresh lemon juice on wet socks is supposed to help too.

I'm just learning this natural thing and its not easy to break habits of thinking our bodies don't know what they are doing plus so many people just push meds like its necessary. Granted, meds are great at time but 75% of the they aren't needed.

Just make sure no water in the eyes during baths right now, don't feed bottles or liquid laying down or at an angle but upright, and help clear ans con.festoon and mucous by steam bc the congestion is what causes fluid build up in most cases

He doesnt have any symptoms except fever and ear irritation . I havent been using a cotton ball so I hope it isnt pooling  . Im goimg to take the head off the cotton cue tip....its seems a good size to stuff in his ear.

I read the ear drum isnt permeable and bm wont reach past the ear drum......the garlic oil I believe is working....it absorbs into the skin and is a natural antibiotic...I know bm helps cure alot of thing s but idk about ear infections behrind the ear drum anyway....but just him eating bm helps fight it

I have been so bad lately..eating freaking burgers and fries   my gut is all screwed and I feel bad cuz now my baby has gas through my milk  (....Im worried that im putting too much paste in his ears . I do like half a dime size in each ear...its got coconut oil in it so it is that paste consistency at first....ugh im such a worrier

I'm putting enough in to fill the ear hole. Most comes out right after though.

Idk I'm.using an oil. Can you not heat it and put it on a spoon then drip it in? Yea I used coconut oil in the mix too.

My gut is smurfed! I so need to eat right. Ugh my head is killing me now! Stupid pizza!
