when and how to announce

So yesterday I found out we 're expecting baby number 3. I m so exited and really want to share the good news with my best friend. She s always the first person I tell then wait for the 12w mark to announce the news to my family and rest of friends.
Now here is the thing. She also just found out she s having her first baby and she s due Aug 15th, and even tho I cannot wait to share the news with her I m also worried I 'll still her thunder(fact that it is our 3rd makes it kinda less special)

I m going to meet her tomorrow for some tea and talk about how exiting it is for her to be pregnant and I m so worried about slipping up and telling her about me

What do you think? When would be the best time to say anything and how?

I would tell her!

I would have loved for my BFF to be pregnant with me!

I would tell her I'm sure she will be just as happy for you and you can be preggo buddies!

Just tell her. It can be a secret between you guys. If you don't tell anyone else I don't think you're stealing her thunder. Maybe she'll enjoy having one one experienced to go through it with.

I think you should just tell her! Friends are great to share these experiences with and I'm sure she'd be thrilled that you can shop and do pregnant women things together  

Tell her. Me and my bestie had our 1st close together and this time although my bub was planned turns out shes expecting 9weeks after me. 9weeks is still a gap and bigger then our 1st's but its still nice having a pregnant CLOSE friend   I no a good 10 ladies pregnant with me but am glad someone im really close to is with me also.  

From personal expeirence it would cause more issues not to tell her then to just be honest and up front with it.

I dont think cause its your 3rd it makes it any less special. every baby is special! I would be ecstatic if my bff was pregnant that close to me. We tried to get pregnant together this time around but it didnt work that well. Shes due april 1st and im due in july. Were 15 weeks apart. So our kids will be close in age...just not our pregnancies lol. Tell her im sure she will be super happy for you.

Well it isn't less special for us. Like you said every babies are special. But I think to some first time mother point of view a 3rd might be "less special"

Congratulation on the both of you. With my 1st my sister and I ttc/and got pregnant at the same time. My niece was born just 10 days before my son and it truly was one of the best experience of my life

Yeah that was our plan but she ended up getting pregnant by accident before we had planned on started together. So then i had to get on it and start trying and it took me 4 months...So thats why were that far apart. She is my sister in law and best friend so its kinda cool cause our kids will be close but also cousins  

Tell her! I was pregnant with both DD's while my friend was pregnant with both of her DS.
Our firsts are 5 days apart, and our youngests are 1 day.
It was fun to spend time with her because she knew exactly how I felt. Our DH's are best friends too, poor guys couldn't escape us.  

Tell her, my best friend and I had our babies on the same day, it was awesome to have a pregnancy buddy.

Just tell her. My sister who is my best friend and I had out babies 3 days apart. It was so much fun to have someone else that was pregnant to talk to and hang out with.

My best friend of 16 years was scheduled for her c-section 6 days after I had my youngest. We were 3 weeks to the day apart. She didn't want to tell me because she wanted me to focus on my pregnancy and not hers. I loved being able to discuss everything I was feeling with her. All my symptoms and fears she understood. For both of us it was our second baby.
