legal does not always mean you can get it though because a doctor would have grounds for moral objection at that point so it can be pretty hard to find one who's willing.

Morals should not be brought up in this section of this forum that is what Debate & Discuss is for. as far as the procedure goes, the later you have one done the more complex it is. Also the longer the physical recovery will probably be.

I don't know what it's like or the risks but morally it would vary person to person. I personally I am 100% pro-choice for any reason up until viability (typically 24ish weeks) and after that I would prefer for abortions to only happen in instances of medical necessity, But I don't know every woman's story so it's really not my place to say what they can and can't do.

I am sure there are laws that will give clear guidelines but generally speaking if it is at viability and by that I mean can live unassisted outside the womb, they generally won't do it.

Late term abortion is harder on your body than doing it as early as possible. They have to remove tissue and skin.

Ohhhh that makes me cry, I would imagine and more hope that a lot of parents don't take advantage of that in Canada

OP I have a friend who had a late term abortion I think she was about 20 weeks. I don't know a lot about it because she did not talk about it much. I do know that it was emotionally very hard on her.
I also know that her boobs got kinda messed up after. I don't know if this can happen with other abortions or what exactly caused it but one of her breasts never went back down to her pre pregnancy size.
The moral right and wrong part is up to each person. Most people do feel that the earlier the better but if it is for you then all that matters is how you feel.
I do know my friend was never "ok" after that but she did move on and made a wonderful life for her self.
