I went to the police and filed a report on him~FINALLY

So today James and I got into a fight, again. Of course~
It was the last time I was going to put up with his psychopathic tendencies.
I went to the police station and didn't press charges, he didn't do anything specific enough to do that, but I told a police officer about EVERYTHING he has done, from before I was even pregnant until today when he freaked out on me.
So that was a small step towards getting to where I need to be.
His advice of course was to go to a women's shelter. I guess I AM going to have to do that eventually but I'm putting it off for a bit....I really just don't want to.   Just scared to take that step.
So yeah, I just wanted SOMEONE who matters who isn't a friend or family member knowing about this. And it will be good to have evidence on file of this smurf.
Now...I'm at some friend's house hanging out with some friends and a new guy friend who has a little one as well, he is 4 years old and Aerilynn is having fun playing with his toys and stuff.
Idk what I'm doing tonight...don't know where I'm sleeping or anything like that. But I'm glad that he is at home without a phone or a car...like he left me stranded so many times without the ability to contact people.
Before I left he said he would call the cops on me if I didn't come home tonight with her, and tell them I kidnapped her. Its bullsmurf that he would even be able to achieve anything through this, but I do kinda wish he had a phone just so I could tell him not to bother doing that smurf because the cops already have his name and know what he has been doing.
Freaking douche.

Good for you! Even though you didn't press any charges it's always good to have something on a record.

Lol no he doesn't. He thinks I'm at a women's shelter already actually.
But I just decided to go strait to the police.

Mmm not really. Not long term. I have a few friends who are saying we can stay with them for a bit, but I am going to need a lot of long term help, and a women's shelter is my only option really.
My family isn't too willing, or able to help.
I was living with my grandma but we recently found out she has 18 malignant brain cancers. So she is now going through radiation and living at an assisted living place.
So our only option for help through family is no longer an option, of course.
