Hair falling off!

My almost 3 month old babys hair is falling off, is this normal? my mom said i should just cut his hair so it can come out stronger...

My kids hair always fell out where they would lay, on the back of their heads. Cutting it isnt going to make it thicker or anything.

When my son was born he had a full head of thick long hair and all of the nurses said not to be worried if it fell out I guess it happens a lot my son's just got longer and thicker but a lot of babies loose it then it grows back in could also be the way he or she is laying. Meaning if they are moving their head around a lot and it is rubbing it can cause the hair to go away in that area until it grows back
