Still Producing Milk?

I'm almost 6 months post partum and milk will still come out of my breasts. It doesn't come out by itself but I can squeeze my breasts or just pinch my nipples and it starts to come out. I never breastfed.. Is this normal?

I breast fed until 2mo (she had gastric probs so changed to a formula) and my boobs did that until she was 6-7mo. I don't know if it's "norma", but it did happen to me also if that's any help.lol

Just curious, but why don't you breastfeed?

I needed to get back on my anxiety medicine and it would've been too hard when I went back to work.

I breastfed but my son was a year and a half before mine completely dried up. They have little pills that help dry it up. You can ask your doctor about it. They had to do that with my sister in law...

oh ok. I might have to ask him. I've just always thought it was weird cuz i never breastfed.

Yeah I know. Some women dry up faster than others. (And with some babies it dries up faster than others too... breast fed or not lol)

Yeah. Well that's good to know. And I'm glad I told my boyfriend it was still happening before he saw it. lol. Freaked him out i think. He asked his grandma if it was normal for me to still have milk in my boobs. lol

You can wear a tight fitting bra (like a sport bra), or put chilled cabbage leaves (or cold packs) on your breasts and both of those things are supposed to help dry up ur milk supply.

I freaked my ex out with it one day bc I ended up spraying him lol it was funny.

I was at a 4th of July party and a friend decided to spray me with her milk as soon as I walked through the door. I was like..wtf.

But I BFed my LO until she was 16 months. She's almost 26 months and I still have milk   And it's the boob that she didn't like and didn't nurse a lot from (when she was a toddler).
