Just tell her what you told us. She will ask questions to find the right diagnosis or tests to run.

Yes he's circ'd. The tip does get darker but the shaft part is what is turning blue. It just looks extremely swollen. Like I can barely push it down to fit in a diaper.

My son is circed (so is DH) and doesn't turn colors, so it's not really normal for circ boys either.

Are you potty training him? Because this would be a good reason for him to go potty on his own. If it hurts and you teach him to go to the potty when he gets that feeling he'll train himself. And he'll learn not to hold it in and just go quickly so it won't get painful.

Its not normal for circ or uncirc.

He's on and off about the potty. He knows how to use it, just would rather be lazy and wear a diaper.

Hmm. Well it's like this, see how the tip is slightly darker colored. That's what I was talking about. But if the OP said the entire thing turns blue, that's not normal.
