Starting to worry.

My daughter who is just shy of 17 months will randomly look at the inside of her hand and usually point to the middle of it and say "owie and ow ow ow" while whining. It's always her left hand and always the same spot she points. A lot of times when she falls down (even if she doesn't land on her hand) she will get up and start pointing to her hand and say ouch.. she does it randomly too. Is this something she could just be doing or is something possibly wrong? She hasn't fallen badly I don't think, except she does fall quite often while trying to run or jump around - just normal toddler falls. I don't see anything there when I look at it.

She has an appointment on the 11th at the Children's Hospital for a CF test and skin allergy test so I figured I'd mention it then or when she goes for surgery a few days after that.

How long has she been doing this? It could be a splinter that is too small for you to even see...

Probably a week-ish. She mainly just does it when she's grumpy/tired so I wasn't sure if she was just trying to get attention - but since it's the same hand and spot every time then I'm doubting that. Her doctor is gone until Thursday
