Five weeks..

I'm five weeks pregnant. I found out only a couple of weeks ago that I was expecting. I have been bleeding the whole time. I've been to the doctor and they say everything looks good, and have stated no reason for the bleeding. Wondering if any of you have any input on what it could be.

Some people do bleed during pregnancy. Sometimes all the way throughout.

I've heard that. This is my second child. With my first one I didn't bleed at all. I know all pregnancies are different. Just kinda worried about it.

I bled consistently for the first 5 weeks. I thought I was having the period from hell but was pregnant. Then from 5 weeks to 11 weeks I would randomly spot here and there but it stopped. My son is now 3 months old. It can happen and be fine.

I always have some amount of bleeding/spotting in the beginning of my pregnancies. With my oldest, the bleeding and spotting was off and on until I hit 12 weeks and then I didn't get any bleeding again until the end. I know it's hard not to freak out, but it sounds like everything is going how it's suppose to. Hang in there!

I bled throughout my first tri. They labeled it as a threatened abortion and told me to put myself on pelvic rest until I got out the first tri.

That's what I was told. Nothing allowed up there until ten days AFTER I stop bleeding. I'm worried because I feel like it has gotten heavier in the last day or so. But there is no cramping or anything. I'm just trying not to go crazy. I was looking forward to no bleeding for a few months. Now I'm worried about when I'm going to stop, if I even am.

It will stop.

I was sure I was miscarrying and there was nothing I could do about it. It seemed heavy ((enough to stain my jeans)) and was such a horrible feeling. I tried to relax and tell myself whatever happens, happens. It ended up being fine, thank god! I just had to let the fear of m/c'ing go or I was going to be a complete mess my whole pregnancy.

Good luck and just take it easy!

Thank you very much for the reassurance! I'll try to calm down and just breathe and stay positive!
