baby daddy

I'm pregnant, and my baby daddy is confusing me. Really bad. I'm 17, and i posted another topic about it all, but after him ignoring me for so long, i finally saw him yesterday, we didn't really talk about anything baby related, and he was supposed to come over today so we could talk about it before his new years eve plans for tonight. But his dad told him no because he wanted him to go to his dads friends party for a few hours. But yesterday when i saw him he told me he still loves me, he missed me, and that we are gonna hang out today, and sometime over the weekend, probably sunday. He kissed me a lot yesterday. This morning i asked him if it was just kind of the spur of the moment kind of thing, or if hes ready to come fix things and talk to me again. He told me it was a little bit of both. I dont really know what to do, it took me 3 weeks to get him to hang out with me and when i finally got him to we didnt talk about anything, which is only because he told me he could only hang out for like a half hour, but hung out with me for like 3 hours instead. So he told me we could talk about it soon. i'm scared we are going to talk about it, and he will leave again and i don't really know what to do, because i dont want him to come and go as he pleases, i want him to be in the kids life, or not at all. not just randomly as he wants. of course i would much rather him be 100% in the kids life, but you cant force someone to be a dad.

He might have been freaked out when you first told him I know my baby's father was, he left because he need his freedom before she's born, I understood neither of us expected to get pregnant. We are still not together but he's really excited about his daughter, explain to him that he's either going to be involved all the time or not at all.
