It came as such a shock

It shouldn't have hit me this hard but it did.

I was going through the online registration and got really sad that Cora couldn't go to camp this year. She isn't old enough yet

Then I realized that yes, she will be old enough. Camp starts at age 5.

HOLY Smurf how did this happen?

I'm honestly just in shock.

I mean, it makes sense. 5 comes after 4 and kids grow up. But wow. No other age has hit me like this.

Tell me I'm not alone in wondering how the heck 5 years have passed already?

My cousin is 5 and I still try to hold him like a baby  

I've had that shock with Cylus's 4th birthday (And as you already know him getting to do Karate). It is killing me! He shouldn't be growing up like this~!

The camp brochure was talking about field trips and I'm like "what? going places without me?"

My daughter is in a 4-5yr preschool class, and they've probably gone on at least one field trip a month since they started school in September   I was so depressed but she loves it.

She asks me every day if she is 5 yet. I am depressed at the time passing   it seems unreal

My son will be 5 in August, yeah it's still 7 months away but i'm already freaking out. My little boy will be FIVE!?

K turns 5 this summer and it is so bittersweet!! I can't believe she's so big.

I'm just not happy about it. I don't know why. I should be happy that she is a generally awesome, happy kid who loves life and makes me happy to be around her

but 5? No, I don't like it at all. I'll be crying for that birthday

It doesn't get any less shocking, from what I've heard. Next thing you know, she will be dating and driving a car!
