Obama knows that the media will shield him and do everything in their power to blame republicans so he is, once again, off the hook for any shred of rebuke.

But I don't really care too much. My husband figures our taxes will go up about $7,000. It will be interesting to see what all the lower income people do when their taxes go up.

Agree. There are probably a handful of people that are worth keeping but everyone else should be tossed.

Well, here's hoping. And I'm sure I will sound selfish but the biggest reason I care is because I need my tax return ASAP. And I can't afford for it to be delayed. I have GOT to get my car fixed!

IN what little I just read, they decided to take more taxes from people who make over $400k and a household income of over $450k.

The article I just read said that alot of the Democrats are pissed becuase Obama conceded the limit for raising taxes...so you guys might have gotten more than you think!  

There was also a huge battle over the estate tax and the research and development tax but I can't see what was said about it.

I have literally no idea what that means. All I can gather is that we can probably continue to live day to day without to big of a struggle! Lol

Basically, from what I gather, our tax rates are not going to skyrocket now.
Mine are already so damn high that I honestly wasn't worrying about it. I figure they screw me every quarter no matter what, whats a couple thousand more?

Can you tell I'm bitter? lol I just paid my quarterly taxes and I am not pleased.
