toddler with a tummy ache

I think my 3 year old is BSing me. For the past 2 weeks or so he will randomly come to me telling me he doesnt feel good, and say it's his tummy that's hurting. However he is still eating like normal, no poop problems, and is still playing actively as usual. But still, at least once a day he will randomly come to me and say he doesn't feel good. What gives? Is he BSing me? He eats a very healthy diet, and we recently decided to get rid of all the xmas candy, so he isn't eating junk, i don't see any reason or any proof of an actual stomach ache...

My daughter does this cuz she likes the taste of the medicine.. ive just redirected her and told her something else will make her belly feel better, like a small small piece of sugar free mint gum. Which if she really did have a tummy ache the mint would help anyway.

Yeah... DS doesn't ever have any medicine though... I think he might be doing it for attention... Although sometimes he does it when I"m sitting right there playing with him, paying attention ONLY to him so.. idk.  

Must be a phase then. Kids are so silly! Lol. Unless hes having some kind of heartburn or reflux issue.
