Am I being stupid?

DH and I both work today so my mom is watching LO. A few times we have taken DD to my parents the night before work so we can get some sleep (we work 24 or 12 hr shifts). Well last night DH wanted to take her to my parents but I didn't. I miss her and want her home. He whined about it so I got up with her all night so he could sleep. When I finally laid down at 4am DH was snoring like crazy so I got up to go back to the couch. He woke up and stormed out when I told him why I was leaving. I told him to come back to bed that I probably wouldn't sleep anyway because we had to get up in an hour anyway. He completely ignored me and went to the couch anyway. Is it stupid that this hurt my feelings?

I'm confused. You told him you were leaving? Your mad that he wouldn't come back to bed?

Nope sounds like you were trying to be nice, and he is being an asshat. I would definately tell him to cool his smurf or he can stay up with the baby all day, and your going to bed.

Not leaving, just going to the couch.

i don't understand. you were on the couch, so how did he storm out to the couch?.... i think it's all just miscommunication. you're both tired and cranky. idk.

I was up on the couch with LO until she fell asleep, then I went to bed to lay down. DH started snoring so I couldn't sleep so I got up to go back to the couch, he jumped up and went out to the couch instead

The fact that he ignored me and stormed off when I was just trying to be nice.

I think it just sounds like lack of sleep to me.

It may be, but it still upset me
