I've actually heard Celexa was good, how is it working for you? I'm pretty sure I'm bipolar too so...I need something to help my up and down mood swings

So far it seems to be working. I have been on it now for about 2 weeks. Every day I have been noticing a slight improvement in my emotions and what not.

Good! I might have to check back in with ya and see how it goes for you, I think I'm going to try the vyvanse though...have you heard of it/tried it?

I have never heard of it. Is it another anti depressant ?

Yup, apparently gives you energy too which I totally need lol

I wish my doctor would have suggested that to me. I could definitely use an energy boost.

I think it's still somewhat new...a friend told me

She told me the Citalopram (Celexa) was a fairly new modern day anti depressant.

She fair warned me it might diminish my sex drive.

Oddly enough, I have been more.. giving... to DH recently.

He will lay in bed in the dark for a couple of hours, then gives up trying to sleep & plays video games or watches movies. He had his days & nights straightened out for a little while, but then started back on this after a while.

I will most definitely talk to him & if it is depression, I will have my mom reffer him to her doctor (she has bipolar & severe depression) they put her on something that sounds very similar to that. Idk what it's called, but the way it works sounds the same. Thank you all for your advice.

That's awesome! Yeah the generic prozac I was on for like a week and a half took my sex drive away but I got off of it...I felt better mentally but not physically, tired and what not lol I won't take anything if it starts to affect my sex life, we have a great one so I don't want anything to ruin it lol
