I've heard it's not a cause for concern until age 4... I've heard before that age they don't even realize they're doing it, because their brain is thinking faster than their mouth can speak.
It's not the same as stuttering, but when my son was younger he used to get hung up on part of a sentence for a while because he was so excited... "& then I... & then I.. & then I... & then I went to the park"...

This is exactly how my son is. I never really knew the difference though. It seems like he has so many thoughts jumbled up that he can't get it all out right.

I wouldn't worry about it   My son did that around age 3... he's 3yrs 8mos now & it's rare that he gets hung up on a sentence anymore.. So it will go away.

my son is 3 and is the same way.

but his dad had a stuttering problem when he was a kid, so we have to keep an extra eye on it.   Not going to worry about it until he's a little older tho and see how it plays out.
