What do I do??
posted 31st Dec
Just to clarify I never had any problems like this with DS so it may sound stupid coming from someone with two kids.
LO has been crying and upset for almost an hour now. Anytime I move him, touch him, put the bottle in his mouth, pretty much anything he starts crying all over again or screaming louder and crying harder if he's already crying. I gave him some Tylenol like 15 to 20 minutes ago. He has calmed down for about 10 minutes this entire time. I've cuddled him, talked to him, rocked him, left him alone, everything I can think off and he will not calm down. He has a dry diaper abd he ate two hours ago. He doesn't have a fever. It's to the point that he can't breathe out of his nose he's cried so much. He's 5 months old. What can I do to get him to calm down?? ( a car ride and warm bath are not options)

Bring him to drs..He may be teething or ear infection? My daughter was the same way recently...cried no matter what I did..I thought teeth coming in were really getting to her..turned out her ear was infected.

Why is he crying?
If he keeps it up, I would call the doc.

He had an almost explosive one last night before bed. His diaper almost couldn't hold it all but that's how it always is. He's a really good pooper. And because our hot water and heat are out

My doctor is a smurfing idiot!! I took him in last week because I though he had an ear infection. His exact words were "I don't think he has an ear infection but I can't get a good look in his ear. He doesn't have a fever an the other ear looks ok so I don't think he has an ear infection". I can't take him anywhere else other then the er. I know he's teething for sure but the Tylenol wasn't doing anything to calm him down

It's 34 degrees and raining /: He's calmed down now but only just barley. Any little thing sets him off....

if you think its teething wet a rag and put it in the freezer so itll get hard and cold then let him go to town chewing on it.

Heat some water on the stove and put him in the tub. Then if you have some, use some calming baby lotion. Warm baths almost always help my kids relax.

Oh, and get a new doctor if your doctor is such a douche.

My stove isn't working either... I think we are out of propane...
