guessing game

SOOO i gave my boyfriend a pair of old diamond earrings that my ex gave me, so he could trade them in... he said he was going to get me a nicer/bigger pair and i said either that or a necklace .. so when we went to lunch he asked me what kind of necklaces i liked, so i showed him a few.well like two days later he texted me a picture of a HEINUS ring and said "is this too flashy for you? size 7?"
i said i don't like it, and that i don't like colored crystals .. well he sent me like 4 more and i didn't like any of them except the last was just ok.. he said I'm not getting it, just getting ideas of your taste. so i sent him like 3 pictures of rings i liked (not engagement rings) and he said well what is your size.. your middle? ...

just wondering what you think he's gonna get me (:

I was thinking ring, until the part where it says "what is your size... your middle?" Like, does he mean what's the size of your middle finger? It would drive me up the wall wearing a ring on that finger. But it does sound like you're getting a ring.
