TTC and scared?

None of my LOs were planned, so Ive never TTC.

My youngest is 6 months and we have been talking about another baby. SO is almost 36 and we feel like if we dont have one soon (and this will be our last) he will get to that point where he will feel too old to have a little one around. I want another baby SO bad and all my kids are 18 months apart so this one wouldnt be any closer to my youngest than the others. Tonight SO said ok lets do it, no more condoms.

Now I'm freaked out. I want one..we want one. But yet I have this scared feeling, like if I get pregnant I will regret it...or I wont get pregnant again.

Maybe Im just not ready to TTC? I dont know if this is a normal feeling or not! It has me re thinking trying

Totally normal. We TTC this one. And then when that test popped up positive I was like oh crap for about two seconds, then I was beyond excited  

If you're not sure.. I wouldn't do it.

Congrats!!! How long did it take to conceive? I think I'm worried we wont be able to get pregnant lol. My periods are kind of messed up now so I'm not even sure when I ovulate anymore!

We were only trying since October. And my periods were out of whack cuz I had my mirena out in Sept. And I tracked my ovulation this past cycle and poof   pregnant. Lol.

I'm not sure if I'm sure. lol. I guess there are really 2 thoughts on my mind when I think about TTC. What my family and friends will think (I have a 3 1/2 yr old, almost 2 yr old and a 6 month old), and that we will try and not be able to get pregnant this time. We would probably be best to just ditch the bc and see where it takes us. No pressure. lol.

eeek that is so exciting. My periods have ALWAYS been normal and I could always tell when I was ovulating. Since having my son, sometimes I miss periods and I can never tell when they are coming muchless when I'm ovulating! I have a feeling it would take a while to actually get pregnant without getting an ovulation kit or something. You lucked out

Before my son I was very regular and knew when I was ovulating. But that anniversary sex will give you surprise babies... lol. And this one I just bought dollar store ovulation tests and they worked   I expected it to take longer but I'm glad it didn't.

But just go for it!

Oh hun, no one is ever "ready" to conceive! Trust your body. When it happens, all the right hormones will flow to your brain and your body will prepare you to do whatever you need to do to care for that new baby!
