pillow for ring bearer

crafty married mamas i need your help please..







im sewing the pillow for my ring bearer. what size should i make it? like how many inches? i have a killer headache and looking it up just isnt working so i figured id just ask you guys! thank you in advance.



i asked on bg facebook but nobody is responding and i wanna start tonight if able.

I just looked really quick on David's Bridal and all the ones I looked at were 6 to 8" squares.

wow i didnt even think to look on that lol.. i tried google and it just wasnt working lol. i hit my head yesterday and nothing is going right today lol..

What I do is go to different sites, like ETSY, davids bridal, where ever you're going to find them and look at their dimensions.

Remember to allow for seam allowance. So add an extra .5 of an inch or more to each side your sewing.

i was going to add a extra inch... is that to much?

i was going to sew it inside out then flip it.. then stuff and finish it.. then i want to do a ribbon in like a cross or x (whatever you want to call it, on going up and down and one side to side) then a jewel in the middle pulled all the way through so it can have a indent type thing. ( does this make sense?)

Ok that was my other question too, where you going to do a ribbon.

pin the ribbon in a cross or x on the top or bottom or wherever you want on your pillow, make sure to give it a little slack for when you stuff it. then pin the other layer to it, sew it, and when you turn it right side out, you'll have the ribbon sewn to it, and when you stuff it, it will be taught. Before you sew it closed you can sew the diamond to it, but if your really good, get the gem that's like a button, then stick it THROUGH your pillow, so it has a dimple on both sides.

Does that make sense? That's totally what I would do, but I bought mine!

And yes an inch would be good! The more the better! IMO!

you just described exactly what i was trying to explain.. i had a really heavy box fall on my head/neck yesterday and today i have a killer headache and am having a hard time finding words.. or ways to say what im thinking.

i dont have the copay.. and all they would do is take a xray and send me home.. we know i didnt break anything cause i can still move.. i just have a major migrane and it hurts and is swollen. theres not even a bruise yet.. the tub is like 25 pounds and fell from about six feet high. my dad thinks i bruised the bone. having Conan isnt helping cause hes loud and hyper lol

we think i do/did.. when it happened my vision went black for a few.. im still getting dizzy when i sit up or stand. and i periodically get nauseous. this is day 2 of a major headache (it happened late day before yesterday) and bad swelling where it hit.. i keep noticing im slower at things right now.. like thinking of a word or how i want to phrase something. or spelling. i had to have SO cover all the windows cause light kills my eyes. and all volume is low. (baby monitor is low cause conans watching a movie)
