Early MC

If you have had an early MC, how did it start and what did it feel like? I'm currently about 5 weeks, and am having horrible cramps. They are coming in waves,and it knocks the breath out of me when they hit.

I had my first miscarriage at 5 weeks 1 day. If I recall right, I was having some cramping here and there a couple of days before but didn't think much of it. Then I went to the bathroom and I was bleeding heavily with huge clots. I rushed to the ER and on the way was when the horrible cramping started.

I had a miscarriage at about 8 weeks amd never had cramping at all :/ I just started spotting like brownish blood on a monday and by wednesday it had picked up to super heavy passing huge clots   i hope everything is okay momma....pm me if ya wanna

If you haven't had an ultrasound, I would call the doctor Cramps that bad and in waves may mean a tubal pregnancy, which could be fatal if your tube ruptures.

I had real bad cramps when I first got pregnant with this baby (my 4th). I was very worried about having a MC but am having a very healthy pregnancy. Try not to stress much because this early there is nothing that can be done. An US wouldn't show much and no heartbeat could be heard yet. Just try to lay down and take it easy. Try a tylenol and a heating pad on your belly and see if it helps. As long as there isn't blood yet, you are still ok. Praying everything turns out ok, and you have a healthy, happy pregnancy!

I'd go to the ER mama and get checked

I agree. I didn't even think about a tubal pregnancy. I thought that with that you only had pain on one side though? Regardless, I agree.

I'm more worried, because I have think I have BV. I had it when I first got pregnant with DD too for some reason, and I haven't been able to get into the DR yet. They've been giving me the run around, so the pregnancy hasn't even been confirmed yet. The pain has subsided, but if it starts again I'm going to take my butt into the ER.

Best of luck momma....all the ER is gonna do is check your hcg levels and do an US tho....not much help but would confirm it or not...

When I miscarried at 5 1/2 weeks I had mild contractions (didn't know at the time that was what they were) and then passed the sac and some blood. It was all over very quickly.

I spotted for about 2-3 weeks then one day it was heavier and i passed tiny tiny clots and i had mild cramping and the cramping slowly got worse and i got more frequent but tinyblod clots. Then on the way to the er my cramps would come and go and i ended up passing it at the er :/ i was 8 weeks.
